To use Verisoul, you need to enable camera and microphone access. To do this, follow these steps:
1) Ensure Browser Has Access To Camera and Microphone
Step 1:
Open Your Phone Settings
Step 2:
- Scroll down to find your browser
- Select the browser you are using (your default browser)
Step 3:
- Turn Microphone on (Green)
- Turn Camera on (Green)
2) “Allow” Verisoul Site to Access Camera & Microphone
Step 1:
- Select Allow when the browser asks for permissions
- IF it doesn’t work - try reloading (resetting) the page
Did you accidentally “Cancel” or “Decline” permissions? See below on how to Allow!
Chrome:
- Open Google Chrome and navigate to the Verisoul Verification site.
- View Site Permissions:
- To the left of the web address (URL), you'll see a padlock icon (đź”’). Click on it.
- A dropdown menu will appear. Click on "Site settings."
- Adjust Camera & Microphone Settings:
- In the site settings page, find "Camera" and "Microphone" from the list of permissions.
- For both "Camera" and "Microphone", click on their respective dropdown menus and change the setting to "Allow."
- Reload the Website:
- After adjusting the permissions, return to the website tab.
- Click the reload button or pressÂ
Ctrl + R
 (on Windows/Linux) orÂCmd + R
 (on Mac) to refresh the page. - Re-prompt for Access:
- After reloading, the website should detect the change in permissions and might re-prompt you for access. If it doesn't, look for a button or option on the website that allows you to start a video call, record audio, or a similar action that would require camera or microphone access. Initiating that action should trigger the re-prompt.
- Grant Access:
- When prompted, click "Allow" to give the site access to your camera and microphone.
Safari:
- Open Safari and navigate to the Verisoul Verification site.
- View Site Permissions:
- To the left of the web address (URL), you'll see an “Aa” icon (Aa). Click on it.
- A dropdown menu will appear. Click on "Website settings."
- Adjust Camera & Microphone Settings:
- In the site settings page, find "Camera" and "Microphone" from the list of permissions.
- For both "Camera" and "Microphone", click on their respective dropdown menus and change the setting to "Allow."
- Reload the Website:
- After adjusting the permissions, return to the website tab.
- Click the reload button or pressÂ
